Muddy says: Craft beer, craft cider and a cool street food kitchen serving knock-out burgers and fries, welcome to your local Salisbury haunt. We love it!
We love the Craft Bar at The Salisbury Arms for its authentic local feel. Yes, it has craft beer, craft cider, a street food kitchen, but most of all it’s that great ‘back street bar’ you’ve always hoped to stumble across. An independent, young family business (always good in our book), it promises to make you feel at home.
A stylish blend of traditional and modern, you can drink yourself silly in this gaff – the cocktails are seriously impressive, from classic old school to modern and twisted, and there’s a whopping 45 on offer BOGOF during happy hour. Or hours, in this case…After Work Perks seem to go on all night! The crew here know their biscuits – they craft their own infusions and liqueurs from hedgerow-foraged fruits, herbs and spices, and even grow their own mint for mojitos.
Onto the food…we’re talking burgers and fries here but, oh, what burgers and fries. Think Straight Up Beef, BBQ Bacon Crunch, PB & J (I’m not kidding), even veggie Biryani Spiced Rice burger, and all of it can be ‘Monster’-ed for a fiver. Loaded fries include Atomic (jalapenos, obvs), BBQ Beer and Cheesemary (rosemary and cheddar). You’re gonna need another cocktail to wash down all that lot…
