Fab-tastic Whatley Manor has had a makeover, and we at Muddy were lucky enough to be one of the very first bods allowed a snoop around. As part of their new funky look, this gorgeous country house hotel has gone and put itself firmly at the top of the pop-up foodie night pile, throwing lavish Chef’s Table-style banquets for a select few in their Green Room. Make sure you’re one of the in-crowd and book your spot now.
Each night a guest chef will host the table, where they will chop, fry and cook up culinary magic right in front of you, and a maximum of 12 guests means that these pop-ups remain seriously exclusive. Next up for their Foodie Experiences…..wait for it…Seven Springs Wine Tasting on Fri 17 August, where you get to quaff a fabulous selection of the most exceptional wines from Seven Springs Vineyard in the picturesque Western Cape, South Africa. You’ll also hang out with Tim and Vaughn Pearson, owners of Seven Springs, so you can pick their brains and find out just how they work their magic.
Now, here’s a biggie #intheknow tap-the-side-of-your-nose bit of goss…rumour has it that a few seriously cool Michelin-starred chefs will be rocking up soon to do the business and cook for you – and you can be sure they will get booked up faster than Stormzy at Finsbury Park. We are super-stoked (does anyone still say that?) to be the first to let you know about them, so watch this space and we’ll bring you the line up as soon as we know it.
