Fab-tastic Whatley Manor has had a makeover, and we at Muddy were lucky enough to be one of the very first bods allowed a snoop around. As part of their new funky look, this gorgeous country house hotel has gone and put itself firmly at the top of the pop-up foodie night pile, throwing lavish Chef’s Table-style banquets for a select few in their Green Room. Make sure you’re one of the in-crowd and book your spot now.

Each night a guest chef will host the table, where they will chop, fry and cook up culinary magic right in front of you, and a maximum of 12 guests means that these pop-ups remain seriously exclusive. Next up for their Foodie Experiences is Japanese Night on 25 May when Craig Lunn brings his wealth of Asian cuisine knowledge to The Green Room, creating crafted plates of fresh and delicious Japanese cuisine, followed by a Tea Tasting Masterclass on 26 May. Join an English Wine Tasting on 30 May, and it’s George Dingle’s Taco Night on the 31st.

An Aperitivo evening is planned for 6 June (count me in!) and on Sat 9 June is another Tea Tasting Masterclass at 2.30pm.

Now, here’s a biggie #intheknow tap-the-side-of-your-nose bit of goss…rumour has it that a few seriously cool Michelin-starred chefs will be rocking up soon to do the business and cook for you – and you can be sure they will get booked up faster than Stormzy at Finsbury Park. We are super-stoked (does anyone still say that?) to be the first to let you know about them, so get in there now and book for Brad Carter of The Carters of Moseley on 4 June. Places are limited, so don’t dawdle peeps!
